Monday as I said I had my benefits orientation for work from 12-4. Max stayed with Gigi and she took him to the mall to meet poppop for lunch. I reminded her that when I start working she can't just take him to the mall and have lunch while I am at work all the time. At least not at first, I'll be too jealous. I got home around 4 and Max was still sleeping. We went to Starbucks when he woke up then Joann Fabrics to get some things that I need for his birthday party.
Tuesday morning Max slept until 6:30! This is a big accomplishment because he has been up around 5 lately. We went to Bethesda to meet Rachel and Gabrielle at Cheesecake factory. I have to say again, I am really proud of Rachel for taking the baby out alot. I don't think I had left the house yet at that point, besides just walking to walgreens or driving through starbucks. I know he didn't go out to lunch with me until he was over a month old. Looking back I wish I did it earlier because that is the easiest time to take them out. Gabby slept the whole time while I was constantly cutting up food for Max and putting it in front of him or occupying him some other way before he started screaming. Lindsey, who is pregnant and due in 2 months met us there as well. It was fun being the "expert" and answering all of their questions. Soon they will be the ones giving advice to the new mommies. Max fell asleep on the ride home and stayed asleep when we got back. I took a nap too! When we got up we went to the floor place to sign our contract. The new wood and carpet is being installed in our new house on July 31st so everything should be done before we move in. I'm so excited!
Here we are at White Flint Mall (Max 11 months, Gabrielle just over 3 weeks):
Wasn't it just yesterday that Max was the baby in the snap and go stroller at the mall and the 11 month old babies seemed SO old (Casey and Parker around 11 months, Max around 6 weeks, Jenna around 2.5 weeks):
