the ladies man

We went out to lunch today with Rebecca, Ethan, Marci and Lily. Marci and Lily are from New Jersey and will be moving back there at the end of the summer. We have gotten to know them through other friends and play groups since we moved back to Baltimore. Well Max was totally putting the moves on Lily today at lunch. He was stroking her hair, touching her face, holding her hand, and showing her how strong he is by lifting up her high chair. It was really cute:


After lunch we went to where Max will be going to daycare. I want to visit a few times so that we both feel comfortable there when he starts. Within 5 seconds he was drinking off of a little girl's sippy cup. I feel like he is going to be sick just from being there for 30 minutes today. Its clean in there and everything but there is really no way to avoid sharing germs in a daycare. The cribs are lined up side by side and as I saw very quickly today, they all put the same things in their mouth. Kind of gross but I guess I'll get used to it. Everyone who works there was really nice and Max seemed fine. Actually I think I could have left him there today and he wouldn't have really cared.

His afternoon nap was horrible, less than an hour so I drove him around for a while (to a drive through starbucks!) and he still didn't sleep! We ended up at Target and he was fine there and for the rest of the night. I think he is letting me know that he doesn't need to nap as much during the day anymore which makes me really sad, that means no breaks for me. Thats even more reason for me to be back at work!
