Finished the blanket

I don't know who remembers this but I had a knitting obsession a few years back. I made about 50 scarves. I'm not even kidding. I would buy a new shirt or something and then go home and knit a scarf to match it to wear the next day. Well I gave it up after my closet was filled with scarves I never wore and it is also a pretty expensive habit. Then I knit a blanket when I was pregnant with Max. Here it is:



And heres the one I knit for the new baby. I started it when I was in the first trimester! It took so long. And its still much smaller than the one I made for Max:



Max's is still in his crib and I cover him with it sometimes. Here he is tonight. Its the perfect size:

I tried to make it neutral but I think if its a boy I might have to add some blue to it.

I did knit one other thing for Max that I forgot about...Mommy and baby matching scarves!! I think we wore them once when he was 6 months old:
