Finally better

The ear infection turned out to not be so easily treated. Max was still miserable whenever the tylenol or motrin wore off until this afternoon. I actually called the urgent line at our pediatrician and left a message (on easter sunday!) because we were worried that it was taking so long for him to feel better even with being on an antibiotic for over 2 days. He has woken up in the middle of the night for the past 3 nights and been so hot and sweaty and out of it. Its really sad. This morning he was up at 7 and then fell asleep with Mark on the couch at 9 and Mark put him in his crib and he slept until almost 12! The doctor said that he might just have a virus that isn't responsive to the antibiotic and to call in the morning if it still seems bad. Luckily I think he is better because he hasn't had motrin or tylenol all day and didn't seem to have a fever tonight. Here he is when he fell asleep on the couch with daddy :(
