Could be lasts...

I'm starting to get that feeling that everything I do could be the last time I'm doing it before the baby is born. I have 4 weeks or less now. So when I see a friend its like...the next time I see you will be after I have the baby. When I go to a restaurant or a store or something I think, this is the last time I will be here before I have the baby. One thing that makes me sad is that there are only a few weekends left when it will be just Mark, Max and I as a threesome. I can't believe there will be another person in our family. We just have such a routine and Max will never remember what it was like to be an only child. I guess noone does really. I mean I don't really remember the time with my parents before my brother was born. I just know that in a few weeks I will be so happy with our new life but I'll remember weekends like today and miss it.

Today was actually the perfect Saturday. The weather was beautiful. Max slept until around 6:30 which is pretty typical. We met with another nanny who we liked alot. I emailed her to say it was great meeting her and everything and haven't heard back yet so I'm a little worried maybe she didn't like us. The same thing happened with the first one! I email with them alot before we meet, then I meet them, then send a follow up email and don't hear back from them! I haven't offered them the job or anything but I would think they would respond saying it was great to meet you too, etc. Maybe they don't want to work for us!

Max was really tired early on and actually fell asleep standing up leaning against the couch while the potential nanny was here! Mark put him up in bed and he slept from 10:30 to 1:15. A great nap for that early in the day. I got all of my progress reports done during that nap. Mark and I ate a fun lunch at home and when Max got up he ate a good lunch too. Then we went to meadowood park. It was packed of course since its one of the first really nice days of the spring. He loves to just run around on the grass there:

After the park I went and got a prenatal massage. Mark got me a gift certificate a little while ago for a whole "mother to be" package that included a bunch of stuff but I never had time to go for a whole day of beauty treatments so I have been doing things here and there at this spa and really wanted to use the prenatal massage part of it while I am still pregnant! It was very relaxing. After that I went to startbucks and to get a birthday present for a birthday party we have tomorrow for someone in Max's class. He has 3 birthday parties to go to this month for kids from school. Then I came home and got him all packed and ready to spend the night at gigi and poppops. I dropped him off there at 5:30, came home and got ready to go out to dinner. We went to Dogwood with Jessica and Josh and Rebecca and Neal. It was really good. So that was our day. Wasn't that a great Saturday??

Now I get to go to sleep and not worry about waking up early with Max. I'm going to get some work done in the morning and then pick him up at gigi and poppops and take him to that birthday party at 1. I've actually been very anxious about work related stuff this week so I'm trying to get it all done so that I don't have to worry about it anymore. I don't want to have to leave anything major undone when I'm on maternity leave. Even though I am not due for 4 weeks I just feel like once I'm 36 weeks (monday) it could really be any day!! How did it go by so fast??
