We are in the process of getting rid of our old computer since we have a new laptop. So we're just copying any files, pictures, etc that we want to keep and putting them onto the new computer. I transferred about half of my pictures last night and came across some things I had forgotten about. I guess these videos were ones that I didn't consider good enough to put on youtube at the time, they were just in the folders with the pictures. But looking back at them its just amazing to see that that is Max! This one was probably on one of our many trips back to Baltimore. I can tell because sports radio is on and I'm in the backseat. I loved that duck and we actually lost it somehow. Probably because I took it everywhere with us and Max must have thrown it out of the stroller at some point. I would love to have one of those again if anyone is looking for a good present for us :) I have no idea where to get one. It was like made out of sock material. Anyway, hes about 2.5 months old here. How cute and little is he?
And this one is from when hes about 5.5 months old. It must have been when we started "ferberizing" him because I was supposed to go in after a certain amount of minutes of him crying and just soothe him but I couldn't pick him up (the rules written by Dr. Ferber). That is why I'm stroking him and replacing the binky but I'm not picking him up. It was tough, but it did work and thats how we got him on more of a nap schedule and he started sleeping much better at night. I love how he was swaddled on just the bottom. I remember thinking that he would be swaddled until he was 12. haha. It ended up that he stopped using the binky soon after this because I think I would replace it once but then not again. Thats when he found his fingers and he hasn't turned back since! Only a few days after this video he wanted nothing to do with the binky and didn't even know what to do with it when I put it in his mouth. He was still stroking his hair even back then, just sucking the binky rather than his fingers.

awww remember that baby cry? they don't sound like that anymore. I don't think of them sounding different when they cry now, cause I'm just used to it, but when I listen to that newborn cry, I miss it. Remember I'm like moving in after your baby is born to get my fill?
