Happy Valentines Day!

Here is one of Max's Valentines picture from last year:

And here are a few from this year:

Its funny that I thought it was hard to get a good picture of him when he was 6 months old. I remember he kept rolling around and wrinkling that paper and I was like ugh it was so much easier before he could roll. Now I would love if he even stood still for 1 second. Those 4 pictures were the best out of like 100. He was running back and forth with that lollipop for 20 minutes. I sacrificed getting sticky red stuff on my walls and carpet. But at least a few of them are cute.

We had an eventful night last night. Max was eating his fruit and Mark and I were just starting our dinner. I made pizza bagels. I literally took 1 bite and all the lights went out. It was pitch black. The electricity in the whole neighborhood was out. Max thought it was funny at first but literally you could not see a thing. Do you think we have a flashlight? No we don't. So there was nothing to do but quickly figure out how to turn the oven off, find my keys and leave. We could never have seen enough to get Max through the whole bedtime routine and into bed without a flashlight. So we were in the car within 5 minutes and on our way to my parents house. I took the pan of pizza bagels with me. So we ended up putting Max to bed there and finishing our dinner with them. My mom made pizza too so that we could all have the same thing. Of course, we heard from our neighbors that the lights were back on about a half hour later but like I said, it was PITCH black, we couldn't have been there for 30 minutes with Max. We came back home after dinner and Max spent the night there. We weren't expecting to get to sleep in on Valentine's morning but we got to!
