Happy Birthday to me! Its funny how birthdays get less and less significant as the years go on. Especially once you have a baby. I feel weird even acknowledging my birthday. Thank you for all of the calls, emails, cards, etc for those of you who remembered. And those of you who didn't, that is fine too because I have a hard time even knowing what day it is these days let alone remembering to call someone. I think I would like to stay at 29 instead of turning 30 next year. The 20s were great...so much has happened and changed; college, graduation, grad school, jobs, houses, weddings, babies. I don't really feel the need to ever turn 30. I think I can safely say that this past year was the best of my life. I don't think you can beat motherhood. We didn't do anything special for my birthday. Max woke up bright and early at 5 and didn't really go back to sleep after that (maybe he was just excited to give me a birthday kiss). We all went back to sleep at 8:30 when he went down for a nap. I wanted an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese so Mark went out and got me one. I guess that was my birthday present because so far I haven't received anything else!
Mommy and Max on my birthday:

Update: Mark came home with a very nice card for me from him and Max and a $100 starbucks card!!! Its a day late but it was worth the wait.
