Max will be completely potty trained by his bar mitzvah
He will not have to wear a "goodnights" diapers on his wedding night
I won't have to make sure he is wearing a pull up in case he falls asleep in the car
We will not have to take the Target Froggie potty to his college dorm
One day there won't be chocolate milk and apple juice all over my carpet
He will not be surviving on chocolate milk, juice, cinnamon toast crunch and jelly beans when he is an adult
I won't have to open and close the gates 400 times a day so noone falls down the steps on the many occasions that Max has to go back upstairs for something (his blackberry, my phone, a plug or two, etc).
One day he won't just come up and hit Mallory 4 times on the head for no reason
When Mallory is 10 I won't find her playing in the toilet whenever I turn my back for 5 seconds with her sleeves soaking wet
She won't eat anything and everything off of the floor including dog food, toilet paper, dirt, bugs, etc.
She won't hit her head against the wall and drop to the floor kicking and screaming when I turn off Elmo
One day I won't wake up to Max screaming "Mommy come get us out of Mallory's bed!!" Yes..."us", he gets in there every morning and wakes her up.
Just had to put it all into perspective for myself. This is all temporary and I guess at SOME point I'll miss it all.
