Dear Carrie, (and other stuff)

Hi! How are you? I'm so excited for your visit this weekend. The kids are so excited to see you. I hope they are good, even though I know you won't judge. I can't believe you haven't seen them since Mallory wasn't even a year old

You took that picture at my house the last time you were here. She is so different now and so is Max. I can tell you that this time when you visit, we won't be wearing tank tops and short sleeves like the last time..

This is more appropriate

Or maybe this for when we go out clubbing.
Anyway, I can't wait to see you!!
Love,
Kim

In other news... We had a round of the stomach bug only 2 weeks ago and then yesterday I was sick AGAIN and Max got sent home from school with a fever. I am better today but he is still not feeling well. Mallory is ok so far but I'm sure she will get it because she still puts everything in her mouth., including his cups. She has become SUCH a toddler and a little diva. First of all, she gets into everything just like Max did but in a different way. Max was all about doors, opening and closing everything and of course, the phone. Mallory is all about toilets. Seriously, if she could just stand in the bathroom all day and splash around, she would be thrilled and it gets even more disgusting than that but I won't give details. Maybe she'll be potty trained early. Speaking of potty trained....guess who was in buzz lightyear/mickey mouse/cars/spiderman underpants ALL WEEKEND?? (minus nap time and bedtime and today because he is sick) YUP...my boy. I know this sounds like late potty training to some of you and maybe because Max looks like he is 5. But according to my doctor, boys are usually 3 and a half when they are ready to be potty trained so yay for us for being 2 months ahead of the game :) We're not nearly through with the process but at least we're getting somewhere now.

I'm so proud of him, really. I can't believe what a big boy he is. The things he says to me are just hysterical. Even his teachers are starting to say he is very "witty" with the things he comes up with. He calls us "mommer" and "dadder" when he's joking around. Maybe he'll be a jokster...Mark and I were/are both pretty sarcastic people so maybe thats where he gets it!

Chanukah has been fun. I'll do another post in a few days (if I get to it) summarizing the whole holiday once it is over. We're on night 7 and I am out of presents. I think I'm wrapping up a few pieces of gelt and he'll probably like it more than the other gifts I actually spent money on.

Ok...I have to go play around on the new profile on facebook and figure it all out!
