Slacker

I know...I am a major blog slacker. I think my life has gotten to a "norm" which is a good thing. There just aren't so many major stories or crazy events or blog worthy things to write about. Just life, which is good. I'm not asking for any major events! What have we been up to...

Oh yeah, we were SICK, especially Mallory. She had a cold for sooo long, it seemed like 2 weeks. It's so sad when she has a cold, and not to be too graphic but now that her hair is so long, she wakes up with hair plastered to her face with green snot. Not cute. I learned to have her sleep with her hair up when she has a cold. Here she is lounging on the couch when she didn't feel well. And she was holding the remote on her own, I just turned around and she was like this.



So we have all been sick with a few different things including more than 1 stomach bug in one month. Hopefully we're DONE for the winter.

Mallory turned 19 months the other day and I didn't realize it until the next day. That means she's not a baby anymore, I don't even remember her monthly birthdays. She is still my baby in so many ways though. Just look at her cuddled up with her bumpers still in her bed, her binky still in her mouth and that little blanky she's had since she was born, plus that other Mallory blanket that I took all her monthly pictures on.

Definitely still my baby.

And my boy is definitely NOT a baby. Just listen to him "read" this whole story about when he WAS a baby.



Genius. We had his parent teacher conference the other day and he is doing so well this year. So that's about it. Just like I said, boring, un-eventful, just like we like it :)
