My life is a children's story book

A few days ago, a new teacher at school came up to me and was looking at my name tag and said "Oh wow its really "fine" like in Morris Goes to School". I had never heard of that book before but the teachers name is Miss Fine!



Obviously I'll be purchasing that book as soon as my kids are learning to read.

The even crazier one that someone brought to my attention on facebook is this:


Max and Mallory are brother and sister in this whole "Mallory" series! How did I not know about these? I sense a bar/bat mitzvah theme here, or at least a birthday party somewhere along the way. Max is even the older one. He is 10 and Mallory is 8. I read a few pages of one of the books online and Mallory sounds like a kind of whiny little girl, similar to "Junie B Jones" in those books when we were little. Not at all how my Mallory is going to be. Remember I thought my names were at least semi-original and there is a whole series of books with the same brother and sister names!!
