Sad news

Along with the excitement of finally moving, came some sad news this morning. My Uncle Yale passed away last night. I just wanted to put a little something on here about him. He was such a great man who lived a very full life. He is my father's brother's wife's father. So technically, we're not blood related but Shirley and Yale have always included my family in everything from holiday dinners to special get togethers and parties. I learned so many family traditions from them...the egg game at Yom Kippur, the fire matzoh at Passover and of course the amazing fried matzoh party ever year at their house. Many of my childhood memories with my cousins include "Bubs and Pops" as well. Yale always had a story to tell and we all loved listening to him. We all feel so lucky to have known him and he will be truly missed. Our thoughts are with Shirley and the rest of Yale's family and friends.
