So what have we been up to? I have to look at my pictures from the last few weeks to even remember.
Oh yeah...we had a few "last time at the pool" events.
Who doesn't like a comparison pic...

Max started school
No complaints from the teachers yet so I'm hoping its a good fit for him. I like that he is in a class that has double the amount of boys than girls. He is also one of many summer birthdays in there. He's not the oldest, but one of the oldest so we'll really get to see how he compares with other boys who are right around the same age. Not that we need to compare him so much but hes a boy with a late birthday (cut off is September 1). Last year he was one of the youngest in his class and alot of the boys were 6 or more months older than him which at 2 years old, was a big difference. As someone who works with kids in school, mostly kids who have learning and other "issues" and mostly kids who are boys, I lean toward wanting to send him to a pre-k or a pre-1 and make him the oldest rather than the youngest. I just feel like its not going to be doing him any favors to make him the youngest boy in his grade. Then again, alot could change in the next 2 years before kindergarten. Wow, is kindergarten really in only 2 years??
We had a fun girls dinner
Mark took Max to his first Oriole's game
So now he has been to a Raven's game and an Oriole's game and has seen maybe 5 minutes total of playing time.
I have alot more to say about our labor day weekend, some other upcoming events regarding Max and some other general thoughts about getting back to work, but it is going to have to wait because I am tired and finally really into the Twilight Series (only took me 6 months and 3.5 books). I'm on the 4th book and excited to get in bed and read. I also have a boy with a temperature (got a call from school today that he was tired and had 101.4!!) and a girl who will probably wake up with the same thing. Hopefully they will both sleep through the night.
For those of you who celebrate...Happy Healthy Sweet New Year. Looking forward to dipping the apples in honey, appreciating all the sweet things and enjoying my family :)
