A real play room!

The basement playroom has finally been turned into a real playroom. My in-laws got us a sofa bed for down there and we finally had it delivered. They'll be sleeping on it soon! We also moved the furniture from the office/soon to be baby's room. Thanks to Mark, Josh and Bobby. So the baby's room is almost empty. My main goal was to have a room that Max could play in and not be able to reach the tv and I could be down there with the baby and watch tv or feed the baby and just have Max be occupied. I think it will serve all of those functions. The only other thing I haven't set up is this little toy cart. The blue thing that I showed before. Its too hard to put together so I'm waiting for pop pop to do it. He put together a few things for us.

One concern is that the TV is up high on a dresser that is not that sturdy and Max could potentially climb on it and knock the whole thing over. Luckily he hasn't touched it yet but we're keeping an eye out for it and if he goes near it we'll change it. Thanks to Hope and Toby for their TV!!

The beautiful artwork made at daycare:

The other side of the room

"Max's House"

Just kidding, its a Maxwell House coffee blanket that Gigi had but it could say Max's house. haha.

Hopefully we will have many hours and years of playing in the play room. Who wants to come over to play?

I love the way the "art work" looks.
