Huge

Max had his 15 month appointment yesterday and he is HUGE. Hes in the 95th percentile for height (33.5 inches) and approaching that for weight (29 pounds 4 oz). That is a big boy. I mean I knew he was big, but 95th%ile? It kind of makes me think we should have another boy because I would feel bad if my little girl was this big amazon woman. It was hard being the tallest girl when I was young and I ended up not even being that tall. Now that I said that I will definitely have a girl and she will be 5'11 in 5th grade and see this at some point and be upset. Its a good thing he started walking when he did because I cannot be pregnant and lugging around 30 pounds. Anyway, Max was a terror during the appointment, kicking and screaming the whole time because there was a phone in the exam room and he was basically willing to die to get his hands on it. I was repeatedly apologizing to the doctor for his behavior and he said that is how all 15 month appointments go and he would be more concerned if Max was sitting there quietly on the table. He said hes doing great developmentally and he is not concerned that he has had 3 ear infections in 3 months because they always go away quickly with the medicine. I hope he doesn't have anymore!
