Mallory has turned into a real little girl
At least they look cute while drinking out of them
I made banana chocolate chip pancakes last weekend and we all sat at the same table in our pajamas and ate them.
It felt like a real Sunday family breakfast. Now all we need is a kitchen table big enough for 4 so we don't have to do these things at the dining room table. If you noticed-Max got a hair cut and it was the easiest one yet. Only took us 1 lollipop and 1 video. Only a few months ago it took around 6 lollipops.
I dressed Mallory in pink and green the other day and then realized I had a bag that matched perfectly because I went through a green and pink phase when I lived in Philly. She refused to hold it but I still go it in a picture.
Cousin Rose was in from California and came over that day to play
We got to hang out with Rose and her parents a few time this weekend because we had Mark's cousin's bar mitzvah last night. These events always remind me how old we really are. I so wanted to be on the dance floor dancing with my friends in a circle (I still know all the words to the popular songs!). I wanted to be partners with Carrie and win Coke and Pepsi. Now I'm with the adults who dance for one slow song and spend the rest of the time watching the kids enjoy themselves and talking about how kids are so different these days. How is it that I am already almost 20 years removed from all of that!??? Impossible.
Regardless of feeling old, we still had a nice time hanging out with family and of course having a night out.
That's all for now. It is finally chilly fall weather and I never thought I'd be so happy. I want to wear jeans and long sleeve t-shirts for the rest of my life. (Until its freezing cold out and I can't wait to wear tank tops and dresses again). Oh and with the first signs of fall came Mallory's first cold of the season :( Here we go with the passing around of germs. Before I know it my hands will be cracked and bleeding-a sure sign that fall/winter is here.
