Tough Love

That's the only way I can describe Max and Mallory's relationship so far. I really do think that Max loves her but he doesn't want her to enjoy anything or play with anything or do anything except just sit there. If the tv is on and Max is watching sesame street and Mallory looks over at the tv, Max says "no baby! I'm watching it!!" and runs over to the tv to turn it off so that she can't see it. Now that she is crawling, she works so hard to get all the way across the room to get something and then he runs over and takes whatever she has and throws it across the room. He just doesn't think she should have or do anything. Does this mean he won't be happy about her dating his friends in high school? This is the typical routine of him taking whatever she has:

Today I caught him being kind of rough with her and at first I started to get mad like "Max leave her alone". Then I realized they were truly playing together and he was just making her laugh. Even when it looked like he was knocking her on the floor. I caught some of it.

I love how he is like knocking her down and shes just laughing. I guess little sisters with big brothers get used to being tackled.
