Girls Weekend

We were all supposed to go to Salisbury this weekend but Mallory woke up at 1am on Saturday morning with a fever...101.3. In the morning it was around 100 and I took her to the doctor who couldn't find anything specific wrong with her, no ear infection or anything but said that shes probably just "coming down with something". great. So I decided it wasn't the best idea to take her on a long car ride and have her sleep in a pack and play and not be in her own environment if she wasn't feeling well. I ended up sending the boys there and staying home with Mallory. This was the first time we've really done that. I've been away from Max for a night or 2 but its been when he stays in Baltimore and I've gone away. Never the other way around. I was a little nervous but once he was there I was happy that I made that decision. He had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa and Daddy and I got to spend some quality alone time with Mallory while she wasn't feeling well. She doesn't have a fever anymore (maybe because I'm loading her up with tylenol and motrin) but she is still waking up during the night screaming. Last night I was actually really scared because she wouldn't stop screaming and I was alone. She ended up sleeping most of the night in our bed. She also isn't eating. She will take a few bites of food and then all of a sudden start screaming when she swallows which makes me think her throat hurts. She is nursing though so thats good. Hopefully the worst is over. Here are some pictures from our weekend:

I was really trying to get a picture of the new bow I got her
This is how she really felt:
Poor Girly

We were laying on the couch together and I took this picture and had no idea the camera setting was on black and white (seriously!) but I love how it turned out:

This is what I get to eat when Mark is not home:
It was delicious! One of the perks of eating alone when your non-seafood eating husband is away.

Here we are today...she's feeling a little better but not 100%.

My Starbucks Buddy

I have to say...I miss having the boys around. Its nice to have a quiet day but it was almost too eerily quiet. I got to do things like go to the library, go to lunch with some friends, go run errands easily but when I was home I was kind of like...what do I do now? I'm so used to constantly cleaning up or feeding someone or yelling at someone that being alone with just a baby is too easy and a little boring! Amazing how things change. I missed my men and I'm excited that they will be home soon.

Did I mention I haven't worked a full week (well full meaning my normal 3 days) in over 3 weeks. This week is going to be tough! I forget how to get up and get ready and get out the door by 8:15.
