Its been almost 2 weeks!

Happy New Year! Sorry for the long time between blogs. We've been busy. I was off for about 2 weeks and so was Max which means exhausting days with not much time to do things like blog. We went to Florida for 4 days which was great but I'll have to do a real update about it later because I left my USB cable there and I can't upload pictures. So annoying. I am literally going crazy not being able to put pictures up on facebook and everything. I don't know how people go so long without doing regular updates!! Now I can't even remember alot of the things that we did over break. We saw the trains at the mall, saw the christmas lights in hampden, went to the globetrotters game. I cleaned out my freezer and pantry and cleaned out my closet.

Mallory is doing great...sleeping through the night most nights which I'm not sure is really happening or if its just because our monitor stopped working and I don't hear her as well! Either way its great! She also started eating yogurt for lunch every day which has made things so much easier now that she is eating 3 meals. It seems like she is happier and fuller throughout the day. She is on a great schedule with eating, napping and everything else. She is just a delight...really, we are so lucky.

Max is so funny with everything he says and does. Really such a cute stage. Everything he says is just so honest and innocent but at the same time hes so tricky and smart. I realized today that he benefits sooo much from the structure of going to school. There were a few days when we were sure he was the worst behaved toddler that ever lived. I ended the break feeling really worried about him but after today I feel much better. I think most of his acting out was because he was just out of his routine and kind of bored. Who wouldn't be just hanging out with their parents in the house all day? Today was his first day back at school and he was just different already. Even though its only a 3 hour morning there it just puts him on a schedule, gets him out of the house and with other kids who are in a structured routine.

I will give more details about Florida when I get the pictures up but I will say that on the the 2.5 hour flight back to Baltimore, the longest period of time where neither kid was screaming was 12 seconds. Literally, we counted.
