Florida

We've already been home for a week so lets see what I can remember:

We got there on New Years Eve. The flight wasn't too bad. It wasn't too good either but we made it. Traveling with 2 was not easy, just getting into the airport was a challenge

We got there and it was warm enough for Mallory and I to take a little walk
and for Max to take a little splash in the baby pool in the backyard:

Mark and I went out to a nice dinner for new years eve while Grandma and Grandpa babysat. We were home by 10 and in bed by 11 and surprisingly both kids slept well and slept pretty late the next morning.

We knew the second day was the warmest we were going to get so we made sure to go to the beach. It was cloudy but warm enough to play a little in the water. Max LOVEs the water, so much that he wants to just run right in and its pretty scary trying to maintain him while hes running around so close to the waves. Here we are playing:

I love how the girls are posing and the boys are playing in the background here:

Here are a few flashbacks...

1 year ago on the same beach:

2 years ago on the same beach:

Almost 3 years ago on the same beach!

Anyway...the rest of our days were cold (in the 50!) and we mostly sat around the house with a few outings here and there to Starbucks, Target, etc. We went out to one of our favorite brunch places...Hurricane Cafe

Played on the playground:

and kicked a ball around with grandpa:

We also got to go out to 2 movies (which we rarely get to do) and went to a nice brunch with Mark's high school roommate. Its always nice to have live in babysitters. Even though it was cold we made the most of our time. Thanks for everything Grandma and Grandpa!

As I said before the plane ride home was horrific. So bad that I don't even want to talk about it anymore. Just imagine the absolute worst it could possibly be and then multiply that by 100.
