watermelon and deodorant

This post will be as random as the title because I don't have much time but I feel like I need to update...

*I was off Friday (teachers convention) so I took Mallory to the mall and had lunch with my parents. Max had school all day that day which was nice:

*Saturday we went to Chuckie Cheese with Lennon and Jenna and their mommies. Max had fun for about 5 minutes as usual at those types of places and then we spent the rest of the time just chasing him around. At least it got us out of the house on a rainy day though.

*Sunday I had a DPhiE reunion at College Park. It was just an alumni brunch but they aren't even in their house right now because its getting renovated. I definitely felt old. I'm not sure what I would have thought when I was in college if a 30 year old came to alumni brunch with her baby and was nursing at the table while eating pizza. I probably would have just been unfriendly and stared. Not that much different from what they did! I was thinking...I was definitely cold and unfriendly until I was older and realized that not everyone in the world was a sorority girl. I think that realization happens when you start working.

*Our dryer is broken for the 5th time in about 5 months (no exaggeration). I can't even put into words how frustrating this is.

*I think all Max ate today was a waffle, some watermelon, 2 lollipops, and some cookies. He was offered about 4,000 other things that he may have had a bite of here and there. I don't understand how hes not starving.

*He was walking around watching sesame street this afternoon and before I knew it, I turned around and found this:

*He has a new obsession with deodorant and I just wanted to capture how he says it because I know soon he will be able to say it right and I'll miss this cute way that he says it now:

*The CAPs lock, both Shifts, the Ctrl, and Enter buttons are no longer attached to my keyboard thanks to you know who. Don't ask me how I am typing.

*Mallory can sit up! (When I prop her up like this and balance her)

* I purchased 2 face masks in the hopes that we will not contract Swine flu on the plane this weekend.

Thats all for now
