Because Max will no longer sit still or smile or do anything for the camera. He starts crying almost immediately when he sees it and will only stop if I give it to him. I've had numerous suggestions on how to resolve this problem but I think he is too smart for any of them. I have managed to take a few decent pictures since he started doing this but I have to hide the camera behind my back, make him laugh or something, then quickly bring the camera out and snap the picture. Its really hard to focus and get it in the right position when you are trying to do it that quickly and usually hes already caught on by the time the flash goes off. I don't know when I will ever catch him doing any of his "tricks" on camera again. Its really frustrating. Heres one from today.

Ok fine, I guess I can admit he's still cute even if he's not that cooperative.
I'm going through a decorating my house stage which is bad because we are going to need baby furniture soon and we shouldn't be spending on little things. All I really want for the time being is shelves for behind the couches and a few decorative things for the walls. We could also use a new railing leading upstairs and a sofabed or futon and some shelves for the soon to be office/playroom/guestroom that the basement will become once the baby is here. Thats all. Is that ok Mark?

ha, at least you got A picture. Check my blog. It's pictureless. I haven't attempted a photo since Thanksgiving, and she wasn't smiling in a single one. Maybe I'll get one or two in Florida, but doubtful. besides, they're too much fun to play with at this age, so I never have my camera out just taking pictures. Oh well, we have enough of their first year to get us by!
