The Big News

I'm not sure if its really news to anyone at this point since most of our friends know but I'm pregnant! I'm about 12 weeks and due on May 20th! It has been a crazy few months. We moved into our house right before labor day and found out about this on September 16th. Everything has seemed like a whirlwind of events since then and here we are, already 3 months along and its public knowledge. I had a doctor's appointment today and heard the heartbeat on the Doppler for the first time which is usually when its a pretty good sign that things are going well. We're very excited that Max is going to be a big brother. He will be 21 months old when this little one arrives. We are not finding out the sex again. I thought that maybe I would want to the second time but I really don't. I think its a girl but I am expecting a boy. We'll be thrilled either way obviously. I already feel bad for this kid because I have done so much less than I did with Max. I don't have a journal, I've been lazy about the pictures, and honestly I don't think about being pregnant nearly as much I as I did the first time. Its just different having a toddler to take care of. I think that is making it go by faster. Luckily I have felt great the whole time and I hope that continues. Here are some pictures I have so far.

Ultrasound at 8 weeks, looks like a little gummy bear! The heartrate was 171, much higher than Max's ever was

Max has alot to learn by May:

Here I am at 10 weeks. In case you don't know...this is what people normally look like around 5 months. I am not normal. And I don't look like that during the day. Its usually at night after I've eaten. When I look at this picture I don't know how I kept it from people at work until now.

So I guess I'll have to change the name of this blog eventually?

Oh my gosh... you have grown! You look so cute pregnant. I'm glad you are feeling well. Max looks so smart and interested in reading his new book. Thanks for your email, I loved hearing from you.

Love,
Aunt Sharon :-)
