Its been too long.

Sorry (to my 3 fans). I don't know where this week went! Here are a few things we've been up to...

My birthday was fun. My mom came over and brought cupcakes and balloons and a gift card from my parents for a massage which I am excited about:

My inlaws sent me a very nice gift card to Nordstroms and I am trying desperately to decide on what to get. I can't decide between nice bag or nice jeans but I think I'm going to go with a bag because that is something I'm less likely to buy on my own. Plus I can get jeans anywhere. Plus its almost summer and I'll be wearing more skirts and dresses and capris and other things rather than nice jeans. There, decision made.

I went out to dinner with Amanda, Jessica, and Rebecca which was SO much fun. I always love a good girls night :)

The kids are great and still so much fun to be with. My friend Rachael had her baby, a girl named Aubrie. I went over to see her and the baby is adorable and Rachael is doing great and of course when I see a newborn baby I want to go back to that stage. But this was the first time when I was in that situation that I actually left and was excited to be where I am. Of course there is nothing like a new baby in your arms. But there is also nothing like pulling your two kids in a wagon together and being able to have a full conversation with your child. I hope Rachael doesn't take offense to this paragraph. Obviously I'm so happy for her and anyone who has a baby its just that the first time around you think that nothing could be better than that but then you realize that it just keeps getting better. Its all fun and exciting and I think I might finally be past the whole "I want them to stay babies" thing. I might even be able to say I'm done with 2 (but I'm not going to say it yet).

Max wants to do everything he sees me doing including cutting Mark's toenails (yes I did cut Mark's toenails the other day...don't ask). Anyway here is a funny video of it. Grandma called in the middle of this and he says "I'm cutting daddy's nails!" haha.

Mallory is going to be 11 months old this week! I can't believe it. I think I'm going to start giving her a little whole milk this week to start that transition. I never thought I was making it to a year with nursing her and here we are! It went by sooo fast. I'm planning her birthday party. Nothing big just a little playgroup with some food and cake. But now that I've sent the evite out I'm in my party mode and trying to get a theme together. I have to keep telling myself not to go overboard because last time I did that, the birthday boy ended up with an ear infection and was miserable at his party.

We went to the Globetrotters game yesterday. Max is starting to enjoy it a little more each time we go.

Thats Mark and Max sitting in the first row on the floor down there.

Don't be surprised if you see that last picture used for something in 2020.
