Ear infection #2

My poor baby. He was not acting like himself but I took him to daycare this morning anyway. I told them to call me if he was acting funny. I called around 10 and they said he was ok and they would call me after his nap. They called me about an hour later but I guess didn't get in touch with me so they called Mark who called my mom and she picked him up. She took him to the doctor and he has a double ear infection. Its so upsetting. He didn't have any until he was 1. Now he has had 2. I feel like it will just be a downward spiral from here and he'll end up with tubes in a few months. But thats the pessimist hypochondriac in me. I'm sure he'll be fine its just the saddest thing when he is sick. And to think it was probably hurting him for much longer than just today, it just wasn't bad enough for me to notice until today. I feel so bad for him. He started the antibiotic so hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow.
