First sickness with 2

I was at my school's end of the year party yesterday and had just finished a delicious margarita when I got a call from daycare saying Max had a 102.7 temperature and I had to pick him up. Such a "buzz kill" (haven't used that term in probably 10 years). Normally Mark or my mom or someone else could help out but Mark was out of town and my mom was working. So I went and got him. As soon as I got there I felt so bad for even being annoyed that I had to leave the party because he looked so pitiful. He was just laying on one of the teachers lap and looked so sad. We got home and he was so hot and sad the whole night. I gave him motrin/tylenol which helped a litte. I called the doctor and they said there is a virus going around and thats what it sounded like but I should come in in the morning to make sure because of having a newborn in the house. My parents came over to help out and have dinner last night. The night actually wasn't bad. Max woke up around 2 am and need more motrin but then he slept until after 6. I fed Mallory around 10:30 and 2:30 and that was it until we were all up around 7. Not bad! We went to the doctor this morning and he did a strep test. He said Max's throat was very red but he thinks its a virus and not strep. He is calling me with the results. He said not to worry about Mallory because she is protected from almost everything at this point. Luckily newborns have all of their mother's antibodies when they are born. Hopefully he will feel better soon. Here they are when we got home from the doctors. Look how tiny Mallory looks in that mirror. haha:
